NWEA is finally here!!!

NWEA Testing: JANUARY 19TH AND JANUARY 25TH

It's finally here! We've practiced hard and now the time has come for us to take the actually NWEA. How can you help? Make sure that your child goes to sleep each night for 10 hours, not just the night before the test. In addition, make sure that your child has a light, healthy breakfast (avoid greasy foods that may cause them to be sluggish). The (Continued...)

Letter Sounds

Tips for Reviewing Letter Sounds @ Home

1) Make a grocery list by stretching out the sounds in words "Rubber Band Style," in slow motion. Repeat this exercise as many times as need to idenitfy beginning (novice skill), middle (advanced skill), and ending sounds (intermediate skill). Practice writing these words down in the form of a numbered list.
